Do i have to change the ballast of my HID kit if i want to change the bulb?
can i simply just change the light bulb on my xenon HID kit to 5000k in place of the 8000k bulb it came with or do i have to change the ballast as well?Do i have to change the ballast of my HID kit if i want to change the bulb?There are basically 2 types of ballasts. The 35W and the 55W system. Assuming you have a car, then you wouldn't worry about 12V or 24V. If you are changing the bulbs, make sure that it uses the same power, ie, 35W or 55W.
